Beware of ent doctor in big hospotals

An ent at a big hospital (A...) Gave me anti depressants when he could not find out the reason for the buzzing in the ear after charging me 1000 consultation and 1000+ rupees  audiometric test

Even the dentist had no clue.only the orthodontist said it was due to tmj.

The ent is not qualified to give you anti depressants which have very bad contraindications .he won't even be transparent with you and tell you that it is an antidepressant he is proscribing!!! That is the most dangerous thing about Indian doctors .also they never discuss contraindications ie bad side effects of the drug they are prescribing and usually have no clue about the contraindications ,I am sure even the medical company making the drug .
