Surya has 3 building one for kids,one for adults and one for endoscopy. Went to see dr Carlton periera ,ent  Registration and payment on the ground floor kids section 1300 rupees Opd on the first floor building to the left of the kids building. Now surya hospital is a old hospital and due to no regular maintenance certain things do not work.for example in the opd building the lift goes up to the first floor after you press the button from inside the lift .but if you press the button from the first floor it will not come up. Now I have seen this in the past 3 years.which is why I said the place is not maintained. Dr Carlton is supposed to be one of the best ents in that area. Shoulder still paining  Took appointment for 11.30 at sportsmed On reaching they ask for your vaccination certificate so carry your cowin certificate!! They did not inform this on the appointment call. Doctor saw on time recommend physio and if not better cortisone injection .no arthroscopic surgery as said my doctor sg at kokilaben hospital. Said it's normal as we age. You need to see the right doctor to get the right diagnosis. And the right Physio. He said to not take any medicine to mask the pain as it will not help the physio.this is unlike the doctor at kokilaben hospital how prescribed antiinflammatory. Sportsmed had a billing issue with hdfc debit and credit cards.theri card machin was refusing hdfc cards.so take cash or have money in your gpay/Paytm  Cost for consultation 3100 rupees about 5 minutes of consulting

Not too crowded. Registration counter tokens not showing in the tv screen. Only 2 reps doing payment. Took 10 minutes.so pretty efficient. Appointment was for 12.45. Doctor s.w sees me at 1.15 . He was in such a hurry . totally disappointing.i feel unless you have a heart attack don't go an see any cardiologist at kokilaben hospital.you can see many negative reviews. So he did not check all my reports told me do ecg and stress test. Had no explanation or solution for my high crp (I think I it due to my teeth infection and shoulder tear ma inybe?) Who do I see for high crp??? It is better to see doctors like Shruti Sharma and dr santosh nagare than doctors at kokilaben hospital for high triglycerides etc. This is my view .

Even after 10 years I find it difficult to find my way around the opd department in kokilaben hospital. The sign board at the ground floor are the best way to find out which floor you need to go for your opd department appointment. they are the best designed hospital with their color coding.

Went to emergency after Doppler test with block. 12.30 Emergency doctor calls vascular specialist. Going to give blood thinner Do 2d echo. 1.39 still waiting at the emergency to know the next steps. Doctors assistant comes at 2.30. 5.14 still waiting for a room in the emergency !! 8 hours sitting in the emergency for a room.this is crazy.that too in the biggest hospital in Mumbai!! Finally got a room at 6.25 pm . Found out the patient in the same room had the same experience as they had to wait 8 hours also . Another odd thing is that they want to see the rt PCR of the covid positive test done in January .if there is a positive test they will not redo rtpct on the patient and are not interested to know the patient has taken both vaccines. The problem with kokilaben hospital unlike Nanavati is they do not have a guest relations manager who helps the patient find simple things like 1)how to order food - what number to press. After two sessions I would not recommend physio at kokilaben hospital opd . Each session was just pressure and electric current.the second session he Rahul pressed so much my hand and body became bruised and red .each session cost 950 rupees!!!  Physios are impersonal.they mix up patient histories as they don't keep a note of their sessions. After two days my muscles where he pressed were still paining and with my existing complaint of pain in my shoulders.i then decided to buy a ultrasound physio machine from Amazon. two days I used this by myself with voveran and bolini gel and my movements and pain have subsided a lot.
